A Contractor Landing Page and Estimate Calculator, Installed on Your Existing WordPress Site

Jay writes the copy, adapts the layout to your trade and business, installs the page, tests the contact form to confirm delivery to your inbox, and hands the page over. You do not touch the code.

For owners of existing WordPress contractor websites. Jay reviews your site before any payment is requested.

Your Website Has a Homepage. Here Is What It Probably Does Not Have.

A homepage is built to do a lot of things at once. It introduces your company, lists your services, covers your service area, mentions your team, shows some photos, and somewhere in there asks the visitor to call you. That works for people who are browsing. It is the wrong page for people who are deciding.

When a homeowner clicks a Google result, follows a Facebook post, sees your yard sign, or gets your URL from a neighbor, they already have a specific job in mind. They are not shopping for information about your company. They are trying to answer one question: is this the right person to call about this specific thing?

A landing page answers that question directly. It covers one service or service group. It gives the visitor one clear path forward. It removes the navigation choices, the unrelated services, and the everything-we-do layout that asks visitors to do work they did not plan to do. For many trades, that page also includes a ballpark estimate tool that lets homeowners do their planning math before they pick up the phone.

That is what gets installed here. One focused page on your existing WordPress site, written for your trade, your business, and your most valuable visitor. Jay adapts the copy, configures the contact form to deliver to your inbox, installs your lead capture calculator, and hands the finished page over. One time. $797.

What Gets Installed and What Changes on Your Site

This service adds one new page to your existing WordPress website. Nothing else on your site is changed. Here is what that page includes and how it is put together.

The copy and layout are adapted to your business. The page is written for your specific trade, your primary service or service group, your service area, and the intended next action. This is not a generic template with your logo dropped in. Jay writes it for a roofer differently than for a remodeler and differently again for a plumber who handles emergency work.

Your business details and branding are applied. Business name, logo, color scheme, contact phone number, service area, and approved photos or images you supply. The page looks like it belongs on your site.

The contact form is configured and tested before handover. A short inquiry or estimate-request form is set up to deliver completed submissions to the inbox you choose. Before the page is considered done, Jay submits a test entry and confirms the full message, including every filled field, arrived in your inbox. A thank-you message appearing on screen is not a delivery test. An actual received email in your inbox is.

A lead capture calculator is included on every page. Homeowners enter their name, email, and phone number, then see an instant ballpark estimate range based on pricing assumptions you approve. You get a named lead with real contact details. They get a planning number. You never commit to a firm price online. It works on mobile and is built into the install, not sold as an add-on.

Mobile layout is included. Tap-to-call, tap-to-text, and the inquiry form work on a phone without zooming or hunting. Homeowners looking for a contractor from their phone get a functional experience on the first try.

See the Kind of Page That Gets Installed

These are real working examples on Jay’s own site. They are not mockups or design previews. They show the actual customer-facing homeowner experience for three different contractor trades.

The calculator, copy, and layout on your installed page will be adapted to your specific trade and business. Roofing and plumbing require different contact strategies. A remodeler page handles scope and budget expectations differently than a painting page. The demos give you a real look at how the pieces fit together.

Roofing Example

Includes a homeowner-facing estimate calculator covering roof size, material type, pitch, tear-off, and complexity. Gives homeowners a planning range before they schedule an inspection, so the first call is already about scope and timeline instead of “can you give me a ballpark?”

View Roofing Demo (opens new tab)
Plumbing Example

Shows how a plumbing page balances a quote calculator for planned work with prominent tap-to-call options for urgent situations. Two different homeowners need two different contact paths from the same page.

View Plumbing Demo (opens new tab)
Remodeling Example

A kitchen and bathroom remodeling calculator covering project type, scope, size, and finish level. Gives homeowners a planning range and frames the scope and budget conversation before the first meeting, which saves time on both ends.

View Remodeling Demo (opens new tab)

Demo pages show the homeowner-facing experience. Trades, layouts, and calculator types vary. The calculator on your page is set up for your trade and pricing assumptions before the build. A demo calculator is not proof of a working inquiry form or automatic follow-up. Those are configured and tested during the actual install.

The Lead Capture Calculator Comes Standard on Every Page

Every $797 install includes a homeowner-facing estimate calculator. It is not an add-on, and it is not saved for certain trades. It is the main lead capture tool on your page, built into the install from day one.

Name, Email and Phone First

Before the estimate range appears, the homeowner enters their name, email address, and phone number. Your page stops collecting anonymous clicks and starts collecting named leads with real contact details you can follow up with.

An Instant Ballpark, No Commitment

The homeowner gets a planning range right away, based on the pricing assumptions you approve. You never commit to a firm number online. The first conversation starts with a budget range already in mind, so it is about scope and timeline instead of “can you give me a rough number?”

Anonymous Traffic Becomes Named Leads

Most visitors leave a contractor site without calling or filling out a form. The calculator gives them a reason to share their details: they want the number. Each completed estimate is a homeowner who raised their hand for your type of work.

Built for Mobile, Built Into the Install

Homeowners use the calculator on their phones as easily as on a desktop. It is adapted to your trade, branded to match your page, and installed alongside your tap-to-call button and inquiry form, so homeowners who are ready to call right now can still reach you directly.

An important distinction between showing an estimate and receiving an inquiry. A calculator on your page shows homeowners a planning range based on general assumptions. That estimate helps them make a decision. It is not a formal quote, and it does not expose your actual job costs, overhead targets, or margin. The homeowner’s ballpark and your internal pricing are two separate things. What the public page shows is a planning tool for the visitor. What you charge and what a job actually costs you stays with you.

From Your First Message to a Live Page: How This Works

No automatic checkout. No payment before review. No surprises about what is needed and when. Here is the full sequence from your first contact to the finished page.

  1. You describe your project

Fill out the short form at the bottom of this page, or call or text Jay at 608-322-4081. The form asks for your basic business details, your website URL, your main service or service focus, and any specific goals for the page. No payment is requested here.

  2. Jay reviews your site and confirms the fit

Jay looks at your existing WordPress setup, confirms the site is compatible with the install, reviews your current pages, and discusses the right approach for your trade and goals. If your site is not a good match for the service, Jay says so before any money changes hands.

  3. Jay sends a private payment link

After the review, Jay confirms the scope and sends a private PayPal payment link for $797. This does not happen automatically when you submit the form.

  4. You provide materials and create temporary access

After Jay confirms payment, he sends instructions for the assets and access he needs. You create a separate temporary WordPress administrator account using Jay’s email address. WordPress sends Jay a password setup link. You do not share your own login, your hosting password, or any payment credentials. Jay works from the temporary account only.

  5. Jay builds the agreed page

Once access and materials are ready, Jay installs the page, writes and adapts the copy, applies your branding, configures the inquiry form, installs the lead capture calculator, and tests that a submitted form entry arrives in your inbox. The page is not presented for review until that delivery test passes.

  6. You review, Jay handles one revision round

Jay presents the page. You review it against the agreed scope. One consolidated revision round on the agreed page is included. This is the right time to flag anything that does not match your business specifics or the scope discussed during the review.

  7. Handover and done

Jay sends the finished page walkthrough and the bonus tool files. The page is yours. You can remove Jay’s temporary WordPress account at any time. When removing it, assign any content owned by that account to your own account first. No ongoing access from Jay is needed after handover.

About the delivery timeline. Jay confirms the schedule after reviewing your project and after all required materials and access are in place. No fixed turnaround time is promised here, because the actual timeline depends on project complexity and how quickly all the pieces come together. Most projects move efficiently once everything needed is ready.

The Bonus Tools: For Your Office and Quoting Work

The $797 package includes downloadable copies of two of Jay’s existing contractor tools. These are separate from the installed landing page. They are for your own use after handover, not part of the customer-facing website experience.

Included Bonus

Contractor Pricing and Profit Tool

A downloadable calculator for working out markup, profit margin, overhead allocation, break-even points, and labor burden. Useful when you want to check whether your pricing is covering what it should cover, or when you are reviewing the difference between what you charge and what you actually keep. Works on a desktop computer. Single-business usage license included.

See the public version at instantsalesfunnels.com/free-contractor-business-calculator for a preview of the calculator types. The downloadable version included in the package is a separate file.

Included Bonus

Contractor Quote and Estimate Tool

A downloadable tool for creating professional contractor quotes with your business name, logo, itemized line items, payment terms, and PDF output. Includes a desktop version for offline use and a WordPress version you can add to your site with copy and paste. Useful for producing clean, consistent quote documents to send to customers. Single-business usage license included.

See the public version at instantsalesfunnels.com/free-contractor-quote-generator for a preview of the tool. The included licensed version has additional features and setup instructions.

These tools are separate from the installed website page. They do not automatically connect to each other, to the website calculator, to the inquiry form, or to a CRM. They are standalone tools for internal job pricing and customer-facing quote work. The specific files included and any platform-specific features are confirmed before handover.

Common Questions

  • What does the $797 service actually include?

One custom landing page installed on your existing WordPress site, with copy and layout written for your trade and business, your branding applied, a mobile layout, a working inquiry form configured to deliver to your inbox and tested before handover, one consolidated revision round, a short walkthrough at handover, and downloadable copies of Jay’s contractor pricing tool and contractor quote tool with a single-business usage license. A lead capture estimate calculator that collects name, email, and phone before showing a ballpark range is included on every page. The full detail is in the package table above.

  • Can you install this on my existing WordPress site?

Yes. The service is designed for owners of existing WordPress sites who want a focused landing page added without doing the build themselves. Jay reviews your setup during the project review step to confirm compatibility before any payment is requested. If your site turns out to be a poor fit, Jay says so before the work begins.

  • Is this a full website or just one landing page?

One landing page. The service adds one focused, purpose-built page to your existing site. Your homepage, about page, and any other current content are not changed. The landing page is a separate, dedicated page built around one service or service group, designed to give visitors one specific next step instead of a full site to navigate. It is not a website replacement.

  • Can the page be adapted to my trade and my service area?

Yes. The copy, layout, and calculator are written and configured for your specific trade, your primary service or service group, and your service area. The demo pages on this site show roofing, plumbing, and remodeling examples, but Jay works with most home service trades: HVAC, electrical, painting, concrete, landscaping, handyman, general contracting, gutters, siding, fencing, and others. Your calculator questions and pricing assumptions are set up for your trade during the project discussion.

  • Does my page get a calculator, a form, or a call button?

Every page includes all three. The lead capture calculator is standard on every $797 install: homeowners enter their name, email, and phone number before seeing an instant ballpark range, which turns anonymous visitors into named leads. Alongside it, a prominent tap-to-call button and a short inquiry form give homeowners who are ready to talk right now a direct path to you. Jay sets up the calculator questions and pricing assumptions for your trade during the project review.

  • Where do customer inquiries go, and how do I know it actually works?

Inquiries go to the email inbox you specify. Before the page is considered done, Jay submits a real test entry and confirms the complete message, with all filled fields, arrived in your inbox. A thank-you message on screen after a form submission is not a delivery confirmation. An actual email in your inbox is. If the test entry does not arrive, Jay troubleshoots the delivery before the page is handed over.

  • Who sets the calculator pricing, and can homeowners see my costs?

You set the pricing assumptions. Before the calculator is configured, Jay discusses what rate ranges and variables make sense for the homeowner-facing estimate. The goal is a ballpark result that is realistic enough for a homeowner to plan with, without showing your actual job costs, overhead, or profit margin. The homeowner-facing output is a planning tool. It is not a binding quote, and it does not expose your internal cost structure. What you charge and what a job costs you stays with you.

  • What happens after I submit the project form?

Jay reviews your submission and looks at your website. He confirms whether the setup is a good fit and discusses the right approach for your trade and goals. If everything lines up, Jay sends a private payment link for $797. The form submission is not a payment. There is no automatic redirect to checkout. Payment follows Jay’s review and confirmation, not the form submission.

  • How do I give Jay access, and how do I remove it afterward?

You create a separate temporary WordPress administrator account using Jay’s email address. WordPress sends a password setup link to that address. You do not share your own username, your own password, or any hosting or payment credentials. When the work is done and you are satisfied with the result, remove Jay’s account from your WordPress user management area. Before deleting it, assign any content owned by that account to your own account so nothing is lost. No ongoing access from Jay is needed after handover.

  • What are the bonus tools and do they connect to the website?

The bonus tools are two separate downloadable files. The contractor pricing and profit tool is for working out markup, margin, overhead, break-even, and labor burden on your jobs. The quote and estimate tool is for creating professional customer-facing quotes with your branding, itemized pricing, and PDF output. Both come with a single-business usage license. They do not automatically connect to each other, to the website calculator, to the inquiry form, or to a CRM. They are standalone tools for your internal job pricing and customer quote work.

  • Are there ongoing fees after the page is installed?

No. The $797 is a one-time payment for the installed page and the included bonus tools. Your existing WordPress hosting, domain registration, and any software you already use are your own ongoing costs and are not eliminated by this service. The installed page does not add a monthly fee or subscription obligation from Jay.

  • Can I send Google Ads or Microsoft Ads traffic to this page?

Yes. A focused landing page is a more useful destination for paid ad traffic than a general homepage because it gives each visitor one specific next step that matches the ad or keyword that brought them there. The service does not include ad account setup, campaign management, or ongoing ad work. Traffic strategy stays with you or whoever manages your advertising. The page gives that traffic a relevant, focused place to land.

  • What revisions and post-handover support are included?

One consolidated revision round is included as part of the $797, handled before the final handover. If something tied specifically to the installation is not working as it should after handover, Jay addresses it. Additional pages, new integrations, ongoing maintenance, and work outside the agreed single-page scope are handled in a separate discussion. The one-time price covers the build, the revision, and the handover. It is not a retainer for unlimited future work.
